Honoring a Legacy:
Sam enlisted in the Marine Corps right after high school. His journey started at Paris Island which lead him to spend a few months at Camp Pendleton. After CA, Sam was stationed at Camp Lejeune where he was deployed for nine months to the Middle East, Norway, Germany, and Sweden. Sam then returned to the states for about a year when he was sent on a short four month deployment with the Navy. Sam spent this time on a ship training and exploring England and surrounding areas. Sam ended his contract in 2019 being discharged as a Sargent MOS Combat Engineer.
When Sam came home in 2019, he went right to work to support his family. Sam enjoyed taking his kids on side-by-side rides on his days off. Sam is survived by Brooklyn and Ryder who were his entire world. Sam was always eager to answer questions that his kids had about his job in the USMC, however they really did not understand much of what he had to say. Sam was never one to brag about being in the service. He would much rather someone else be in the center of attention. Sam put an impact on everyone he met. He was a caring soul who would do whatever he could for someone. Sam’s legacy will be carried out from those who knew him.
